The people you deal with from first enquiry to production
Our team is built around the day to day needs of label converters. That means clear answers, practical planning and support that fits real production conditions, whether you are in Johannesburg, Pretoria, Durban, Cape Town or Gqeberha. We work with narrow-web flexo label presses, setup, operator handover and follow-up support so your line is ready for production and your operators know what to do when the pressure is on.
We also understand local working conditions. Load-shedding, coastal humidity, changing substrate behaviour and municipal compliance can all affect print consistency and finishing. The team keeps that in mind when advising on installation, maintenance schedules and startup production support.

Leadership that keeps projects moving
Thabo Mokoena, our Managing Director, keeps the business focused on practical outcomes and long term client support. He works closely with converters and the internal team to make sure each project is handled with discipline, from first site discussion through to post-installation follow-up. His approach is direct and steady, with an emphasis on doing the basics well and keeping production moving.
Thabo understands that in label printing, delays are costly and small problems can slow an entire shift. He helps guide decisions around press deployment, support planning and the service standards clients expect when they are working to tight turnaround times.
Sales and customer support with straight answers
Aisha Patel, our Sales Manager, helps clients match the right narrow-web flexo solution to the work they need to run. She spends time understanding label volumes, finishing needs, staffing levels and service expectations before any recommendation is made. That practical approach helps converters avoid unnecessary extras and stay focused on what will work in their plant.
Megan Naidoo, our Customer Support Lead, keeps communication clear after the initial enquiry. She helps coordinate updates, service requests and follow-through so clients know what is happening and when. For busy print rooms, that kind of support matters, especially when production windows are tight.

Technical know-how on press, anilox and plate mounting
Johan van der Merwe, our Technical Manager, leads the hands-on side of press setup and technical support. He works through installation checks, commissioning steps, print setting alignment and production troubleshooting with a focus on consistent results. His experience is especially useful when clients need help with anilox care, plate mounting or finishing setup after a new installation.
Johan is often involved when a site needs to recover from downtime or when a press needs to be brought back into stable production after routine service. He communicates in plain language, which helps operators and supervisors understand what needs attention and why.
Training that sticks on the shop floor
Lerato Ndlovu, our Training Co-ordinator, plans operator training in a way that suits real production schedules. She helps arrange startup sessions, refresher training and practical handover support so teams can build confidence on the machine. Her focus is not only on how the press runs, but also on how operators should respond when conditions change during a shift.
In many plants, a good training session can prevent repeat errors and reduce waste. Lerato makes sure training covers the everyday things that matter, including cleaning routines, basic checks and the order of steps that keep setup time under control.

- Startup production support on site
- Practical guidance for routine press checks
Service support from Spartan to sites nationwide
Sibusiso Khumalo, our Service Technician, handles the practical side of maintenance, troubleshooting and breakdown support. He works on site and remotely, depending on what the situation needs, and he is used to dealing with the realities of a busy production floor. From spare parts support to preventive maintenance, his job is to help keep presses running without unnecessary interruption.
Being based in Spartan, Kempton Park gives the team a strong support point for Gauteng, while still serving clients in Durban, Cape Town, Gqeberha and other centres. That mix of local presence and remote assistance helps us respond in a way that suits South African operations. If a converter needs help, they reach us through the enquiry form on our contact page and we take it from there.
